Mint chip:
I believe I have told you about how much I do love ice cream there are so many different flavors and yet their are never enough to be discovered. And yet when it comes to the classic flavors from vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee, etc. the flavor that I love out of all of them, and yes coffee ice cream is up there next to it. Yet I love Mint chip ice cream just a bit more due to the flavor it wields. My taste buds love anything mint so having an ice cream based on mint and the addition of chocolate shavings in it made my life worth living some more.
Ingredients:
Mint flavoring ( to taste ) a drop of green food coloring ( leef green ) 8 cups creme anglaise chocolate shavings ( around 1 1/2 cups ) |
|

Step1: measure out the 8 cups creme anglaise and put into the container the drop of food coloring and just a bit of mint extract. ( about half a cap full or to your liking )
Step2: place the ice cream into the ice cream maker and put on for around 45min. or until the ice cream becomes thick enough. ( look at photos to get an example )
step3: once the ice cream is done scoop into a pre chilled container. With every two scoops add in your chocolate shavings and place more scoops of ice cream on top, but try not to really crush the shavings while doing so. repeatedly do that till their is no more ice cream left, then place it into the freezer to harden.
